Re: Streetfighter, cafe racer thingy!!!

Looks like I have a good read in front of me when I have time for the 40 odd pages of your build project.! I see on your first page that you have the same tracker seat unit that I have for my current project. Another VTwin but this one is of Italian origin.

Re: Streetfighter, cafe racer thingy!!!

Not running a fan on it which doesn’t seem to be an issue but it hasn’t been sat in city traffic jams, traffic lights etc on a hot summers day.... but while I have it it never will. But I don’t think it will be an issue anyway. As soon as it’s on the move it will cool down quickly with all that air ...

Re: Hi from Milton Keynes.

I have a sat nav I use on it and record and reset the mileage . It’s got the speed on it too, which is handy for keeping the points tally down on my licence.!

Re: Streetfighter, cafe racer thingy!!!

Thanks for the positive reply’s. The radiator was a find on eBay which had the right dimensions and a top mounting point. I had a larger curved rad on it previously from a ktm 990 V twin but it fouled the mud guard under heavy braking.! The hose on the left is ( I think 🤔) the original and the other...

Streetfighter, cafe racer thingy!!!

Let me start by apologising to the purists for my sins of chopping about one of your beloved VTR’s. At the risk of being run out of town and thrown off the forum here’s a couple of pics of what i have had lurking in the back of my garage for a few years . I have decided to use it this summer and I’m...

Hi from Milton Keynes.

Hello one and all. I’ve been registered on here for a few years but never posted before. Had my VTR for a while too now but have never used it for any more than a spin around the block after various mods and then it gets relighted to the back of the garage again I started using it properly for the f...
