Re: Whats cheered you up today...?

... the size of my chicken strips! I've got about the same size at the moment. Was in Inverurie yesterday on the Storm. Minus 6C ( 21.2F for our American folk ) and wonder why I never saw a single bike. Tried to get stuff done and head home again before it got a bit chillier. A wee bit of sno...

Re: Starter clutch needed

And JEEZUS, can you im...

Re: Need to borrow a clutch holding tool for an SP2

Erm...I used to keep one of those things in my back pocket. Really useful so it was. Has a handle, and a small chain already fitted. Only has a foot of reach, but that was plenty! Thinking back, I don't think I ever used it on an actual oil filter!

Re: You only get 1 mod.....

Ya, but the night before I picked up the bike I was in the pub with Roger Ditchfield   HA - Yup, that would do it. Pretty fatal for the wallet too (being presented with loads of possibilities). Yer sat at the table, pint in hand, conversation flows and say yer getting a brand new bi...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Water it. You never know until you've tried....... Not a bad idea. Next time I wipe it down with a damp cloth, I'll put some Baby Bio plant feed into the water as well. And if that works, and the bike does grow bigger, then I'll make sure to wash me willy with a facecloth soaked in the stuff! :thum...

Hello Agent P. Hmmm - what is reaching the higher figure? Heavily modified and sorted bikes with fancy bits, or erm. standard red ones with all the original bits? LOL  :?:

Re: You only get 1 mod.....

Fly wheel ? :?:  Yup, I can just see someone going into a showroom, buying a BRAND NEW zero miles Firestorm, and saying the 1st modification thing they're gonna perform is a flywheel exchange. Crikey Carman - I nearly came close to spitting out my coffee when I read that!  Gotta rem...

Looking to get a bike for longer journeys, as the wife is coming on the back after an 18 year break Fair enough.....and then.... You could find yourself a CBF1000 for that money, the only problem would be having to pay to upgrade the rear shock and seat... :eek2 Erm...I'm sure Mrs Flatlines elbow i...

Rumblings from the bottom of the biscuit tin. ( apologies to Frank Westworth for the start of the title ) Ok, I'm probably going to upset and divide the ranks here. I have an admittance to make. My name is Dave. I'm a long term motorcyclist, and I don't like 2 strokes. I've only had 3 in me lifetim...

Re: Which bike to buy?

Gold wing +1 from me. Women like the sports pillion on sunny days only. Blasting round the back roads with a lass hanging on for grimm death is fine for 30 odd miles at a time. Then, the bang on the shoulder signalling leg cramps, cold knees, sore shoulders from the constant leaning, and just gener...
