repaired a broken lug on the underside of the seat cover using plastex - first time i'd ever used it and i'm pretty pleased with the result. cost £20 and i've used maybe 1/4 of it so i'm looking for any other broken plastic things to repair ... it does smell tho and it gave me a headache ( or maybe ...

it rained all day so i did a couple of tiny jobs - put white paint in the ignition key block (forgot to take a before pic but basically the white had all but gone) and on top of the engine stop kill switch (had to use the rubber end of a pencil to "stamp" the raised lettering) also put bla...

fuel stabilizer

thinking ahead to the winter months when i may not get out as much as i'd like: does anyone know anything about fuel stabilizers if you're not using the bike for a while? is it neccessary? recommended brands? how long does petrol last in a tank? i've just remembered that i had a question i wanted to ask (senior moment brought on by the excitement of the new bike!).
Gary fitted manual cct's - the word manual implies they need some sort of human involvement, is that the case and if so what do i need to do and when?
