Time to resurrect this thread again. I ended up putting the bike in the shop months ago. They absolutely drowned it and could get it to repeat the problem. It's been running like a dream since then........until Friday. Same old problem in heavy rain. Cut out and fortunately I managed to take shelte...

That would be interesting. Random idea would be to make a little restriction you could pop in there for a run. I guess even a DB killer in one pipe would do the same.AMCQ46 wrote:I think we need a full range of exhaust systems and headers represented at the next Dyno day.

The more I think about it the more I think it will look Naff. I think I will go solid gold. Just have to work out which shade.

I think the thing with the CBR brace, is it gives a really good amount of rigidity based on the relative stiffness of the rest of the chassis. That and the fact that it fits so perfectly on the VTR swinger is what makes it so popular. I think more is only needed when things like USD forks and a bra...

Hymie, is this on a standard right way up VTR front end? Yeah normal stock vtr . Terry from racetech has done a lot of vtr1000s firestorms. He loves them. Im in Australia. He is only 30 min drive from me. He just cable tied the shims in correct order to the compression gold valves. He said I didn't...
