Re: SOLD Naked 2000 FY registered in '02 for sale

Sitting on the money for now. My Africa Twin ('91 RD04) is getting a bit long in the tooth to tour and I am getting a bit long in the tooth to tour on the Storm so the current thinking is a BMW R1200R sport. Yeah I know, old git. Byit 125hp and a power shifter helps with the dreams of youthfulness.

Re: Sell or break?

Ooh that all sounds like work, but thanks for sharing your experiences. I cleared a lot of stuff pretty quickly when i took it's clothes off but I guess that was the easy selling stuff I guess you were talking about. I've listed on Gumtree and FB Marketplace so will leave those stewing for a bit and...

Sell or break?

Hi all

Looking for some sense of what the appetite for Firestorm parts is like at the moment? Wondering about parting my bike out as an alternative to selling.

Cheers,

Stewart.

SOLD Naked 2000 FY registered in '02 for sale

Hi, Time has come to move on the Storm I've had for the last 8 years. Getting too old for the clip ons led me to change to Renthals a couple of years back and really loving a mate's Aprilia Tuono persuaded me to lose the plastic. CBR600 Stick Coil - does polarity matter?

Hi,

I am fitting CBR600 stick coils and wonder if the polarity matters when wiring the CBR connectors on to Firestorm.

Cheers,

Stewart.

ABBA Pro stand adapter question

Hi, Ages back I bought some ABBA stand adapters for my 2000 FY and the near side is too big. Verniers suggest I may need around 7.5 - 8mm but the one I have is much larger than that - bigger than the offside in fact. Is there a difference year to year or model to model or was I just sold the wrong p...

Insuring an Austrian bike

Hi, my brother passed away recently and the silver lining was inheriting his Africa Twin, a real live proper 80s one. It's registered in Austria and I need to ride it back. OK, I don't need to but I want to. In know I can have it 6 months before I have to register is in the UK but does anyone have a...

Re: Indicator delay

Hi, have been suffering with this issue but originally thought it was a bad switch. How do I contact Frank for one of his £5 posted relays?

Hi, this any use to anyone? FOC but if you want it posted you'll need to cover the stamps. Otherwise collect from Basingstoke or Reading.
