Cheers chaps!
Standard CCT but stopper mod on the way - RR I've not checked yet but it's second only to CCTs on the list.
PS: Anyone got a red seat hump/cowl/pod/WTF such as what they don't need no more?

Holy bing bang, ding dong, wing ding, schping schpong, lacka wacka hoo ha! I got my ass a storm baby!! A late registered 2000 on an 02 plate, picked her up from Kent and navigated back to Hampshire by the simple maxim of "Keep the sun on the left" and what a ride! https://farm4.staticflick...

Re: Storm Hunting - Rust
If it was nearer I might go haggling but it's just too far off. TBH I don't really want a rolling project but I can smell spring in the air and have been planning a trip to the Pyrenees this summer - it's like the biking equivalent of beer goggles. I just need to be a little more patient, learn to r...

Storm Hunting - Rust
Hi, been looking at a Storm a bit away from me and the sellers been decent enough to send some pretty honest pictures as I really don't want to travel unless I'm pretty sure. The only thing I can really pick it up on is a bit of rust, on an oil line forward of the gear shaft and on the subframe to t...

Re: The CCT Stopper Mod...
Hi folks! How's this for the rod this mod needs? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8mm-Aluminium-round-Solid-rod-bar-x-330mm-long-6082-T6-/191087179381 Also, not 100% sure on what distance is being measured for "A" Is the gist to get a length of rod that will completely backfill the gap inside the...

Re: An Apology
Sincere condolences Lee. And seriously you've got nothing to apologise for. Glad you have some good people around you who talked you out of a rash decision cos I'd have hated to be the one that bought that bike now I know where you're head has been at. Besides, secretly I am a bit of a tosspot messe...

Re: Noob in Hants, sans 'Storm.
Great road to Alton from basingstoke, i used to do that and go to Alton train station cafe, then down to Winchester through Four Marks, a great twisty bumpy road. That's a sweet road. It's good biking country round here - even got that Pompey nice and handy for continental access. Welcome, from one...

Re: Noob in Hants, sans 'Storm.
Welcome to a fab forum. Ive seen a few of us in Hants, what area are you in? Basingstoke mate, home of the awesome roundabout infested ring road. And just about every road out of town is a blinder too...partly cos they're all dead twisty, mostly cos they're roads out of Basingstoke. ...you talk a b...

Re: Noob in Hants, sans 'Storm.
Last bike was yellow so probly skip that for the change. 19l is a must though - had a Bros 650 many moons ago and that sucked to commute on as I had to fuel up every other day = done with small tanks.

Noob in Hants, sans 'Storm.
Hi, Info hunting brought me here to learn the fundamentals of VTR ownership and I have already learned so much; Teal? NO! Expect to get all elbows deep and generally James Herriot on whatever I buy for reg/rec and CCT purposes ASAP ( as soon as purchased ). How or spot a 19l tank. Really, don't go t...
