Re: Je suis un Richard!

:D Third bit of bad luck was that the weather was bloody lovely for about 3 hours after I garaged the bike. At least I hope that was the third bit - Last time I had a dead battery on a bike the alarm battery failed and I had to de-wire the fecker - easy once I'd sussed where it was tapped into the l...

Je suis un Richard!

Went for a 10 day trip to visit me folks in Greece, got back and went to get the bike out for a fix. Where's me keys? Looked, looked, looked...hang on...yep, in the ignition...which is turned on...D'oh. Grabbed some jump leads, ( eventually ) fired her up and headed for the second nearest petrol sta...

Re: How many bubbles is this screen then?

... unless I can get the noise down it's going to suck on the VTR. Try a flip screen - silicone earplugs and possibly a different lid. A packed tank bag can help you tuck down when high speed cruising. http://f.cl.ly/items/0L2V3W080n290k1c0N15/vtr-front_stand.jpg http://f.cl.ly/items/0U2a1O1h413244...

You got room for a spectator from Hampshire? Would be good to meet a few of you fine peeps. And if I can hear a variety of cans that'll be handy too.

I can also make intelligent comments but only if someone writes them down for me first - Preferably in big letters.

Re: How many bubbles is this screen then?

Used to get on okay with cylindrical foam but am on conical foam now - maybe that's he problem so i'll try a variety, silicone included, and then maybe go MRA/Skidmarx if I need more. Don't think I need to replace the lid - all the noise is around the skirt so if I can move the dirty air a bit I hop...

No GOT4 for me - Virgin :( Was even tempted back to the world of torrents to try and get it but oh no, message in the browser saying "Tying to be a robbing b@stard are you? Not on our connection you don't!!" Richard Branson hates my GOT lovin' ass! On the plus side I have read the books so...

Re: How many bubbles is this screen then?

The fabri screens are good kit, but if you are tall they don't kick up enough. Try getting a flip screen Have a look here http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32287&p=320306&hilit=Flip+screen#p320306 Looks like that might be the path - Is that 'MEA' mention in that thread a...

How many bubbles is this screen then?

Life's a bit noisy behind this (despite earplugs and buff). I'm 6'2" and hoping there is a better option out there than this. Thoughts? https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Yslg0gzyBks/U0MHGwm7aoI/AAAAAAAACFI/L6QuaabTZ6w/w1043-h586-no/IMG_20140406_174113910.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-...

Re: how does your helmet stand up

My Scorpion Exo 1000 gets four stars. My lad's Duchinni D851 isn't listed but all the Duchinnis that are score four or above which is reassuring.

That's a cool bit of internet that is

Re: Givi Rack - Cowl Trim Needed?

Could you use some spacers so the Givi rails don't interfere with the seat cowl. No, the inside surface of the givi hanger bears directly on the outer face of the subframe so has nowhere to go. Are you referring to the tabs on the underside of the tail fairing that meet the undertray here. ...
