Re: Advice needed
The above all goes out the window as you tune your machine to higher BHp's according to what you are arguing. So if i were to setup my bike to 130 Bhp my exhaust studs are still going to be the same. The way you are speaking is as if any mode is detrimental. These machines are under stressed as it ...

Re: Advice needed
I could fish out some old notes with relative formulas on to calculate the studs maximum torque ability IF we could find any modulus' in relation to the material it's turned out of. Can't remember it off the top of my head (as there is so many) but there may be engineers on here who do so ad it woul...

Re: Advice needed
One thing many many MANY experienced people have told me in the past and something I have become to truly believe is that the japs are fantastic are building bikes (and cars for that matter) and anything they put on a bike, they do so for a reason. Putting on more than necessary costs more and there...

Weld a nut on, Grind flats to get a spanner on, even dremell a fraction of the head off. Alternatively, use a ball joint hammer and tap the protruding thread which will flare it out and after some time, would be flush with the nut and offer a good bind for removing. In addition, lube it up consider...

Re: Why was my thread deleted?
Bleh, if you want to reach sellers, just post up who you want to speak to and they can send you a PM Am I correct in assuming that it would be acceptable to put a thread up with the title being the members name? What section would it be acceptable in though? Thanks for the tip  I did put a...

Re: Why was my thread deleted?
Fair enough but aren't general jokes and chit-chat somewhat trivial in some respect? The thread was initially a foundation that developed into other conversations of genuine interest and not mere trivia. An admin would have seen that had it been read then maybe the title could've been changed to a m...

Why was my thread deleted?
Put a thread up yesterday just full of general nonsense and chit chat in an effort to bump my post count up so I can actually PM sellers on here etc, but for some reason and with no explanation it has gone!! There was nothing spam related or offensive in any way in it so I'm confused. Anyone have an...

Handy thread for all to see. Greenwood S/S springs are apparently an upgrade for those who haven't already seen/ read it.tony.mon wrote:

Re: How would you describe the song of a dying CCT?
Sorry to boycott the thread but could someone possibly message leevtr for me regarding his cans? I'm assuming he can PM me and I should be able to reply! In relation to the CCT's, I had one apart the other day and what a simplistic design. The stopper mod is obviously the cheapest and most effective...

The only person who can answer your question is yourself and the people who know you best... True story here; I'm 32 years old and don't have any qualifications to speak of. I have a super supportive fiance and two young ones (5 years and 2 years). When I met my misses, I was 21 and working as a tea...

Re: Ford focus st170
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same positives as others but when one of my buds had one, it was all good for a while but then things started going wrong with it. Once he fixed one thing, something else went and that's how the story continued until he got rid. BUT... I once had a 2001 Focus TDi and ...
