I'm not fretting over this, just wanted to start a conversation. Some of my co-workers were talking about my "yellow" bike. My reaction =

I might just cover the tank in carbon fiber. So I'm guess the fairing could be changed to any colour and the DVLA wont care?

Is it generally accepted that the colour or your bike's tank is what the colour of the bike is? My bike's fairing is completely black but my tank is yellow. Does this mean I have a yellow bike?

I don't know if I am ok with having a yellow bike.

So I just realized I haven't updated this post in while... So right after the MOT was passed, I sent away all the relevant documents to register the bike (remember it has a US frame and therefore needed to be registered in the UK to get a number plate). About a week later, I received word that the r...

Will there be someone who knows how to set up a Penske rear shock? And also someone who knows how to do the bafflectomy? Any special tools needed for that?

I'm down for that. I take it you know how to get there? Also, I'll need your address. Also, my neighbor might be coming on his Sv. Were probably going to stay as long as it takes to replace my rear shock and conduct a bafflectomy. Then we will head our for lunch/sight seeing.

Count me in. I need to replace my rear shock and maybe do the bafflectomy.
