Re: G'day from a new member

Welcome aboard Rick, what part of Tassie are you from? Not far from Hobart in the south mate! Where do you reside? Cheers :D In Vic mate, on the Ocean Road. Been down your way a few times, best roads in Oz are in Tassie. And considering you are also into Fishing, Dirtbike's and 4WD's, you are obvio...

Re: Road Racing, from another perspective.

Yes, i have watched it a couple of times now. I also forwarded it onto our local Ambulance Driver whom is an avid rider for the passed 40 years. I watched it again with a friend i ride with, there is a lot to be learnt in the event of an accident, and no doubt, being riding buddies, one of us is bou...

Road Racing, from another perspective.

Found this recently uploaded on YouTube, a great watch.
I realise now, this has been uploaded because of the very unfortunate death of Dr John Hinds recently.
What a waste of such a talented man that helped save so many before him.

Re: Snakes on a bike...

I like it, its something different.
Can you pls explain the process or a link.

I think i have seen similar in the car industry for coating rocker covers and other non-flat surfaces.
I think it was some kind of vynal wrap that is floated in liquid then bonds to the surface

I noticed some very nice skids out in front of Stefano's, looks like the bike display went well :) We were suggested Pizza Cafe or Thairiffic by this r...

Re: VTR Down Under

Also, any input on the electrical problems I mentioned? Seems odd for the bike to reset the trip meter and clock, just like it had lost all electrical power. I found a diagnostic checklist for the electrical system including reg/rec, so will play with that over the next few days. Mine does that oft...

Re: Motogp Assen tomorrow

OMG.... talk about a sore loser. Marquez: “I didn’t think he’d cut the corner” A dramatic return to form for Marc Marquez at the Motul TT Assen where once again the infamous last chicane decided the race. It was a difficult start to the weekend for Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) who crashed on his out ...
