Cheers chaps! Chris, That's very kind. But honestly my welding is shocking (no pun intended) I'm just fairly handy with an angle grinder and file [emoji1]

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Looks good Tony, nice to get rid of corroding bolts. They have no place on a Tuono!

Re: Anybody have experience of working with titanium....?
I've just been playing around with aluminium sheet hangers and they're springy too. But, if you double them up so the 2 sheets meet at the exhaust mounting point, but have a spacer between the 2 mounting points on the subframe they're solid. Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Cheers guys [emoji846] it looks a bit rough and ready, but the finished article should be nicely done. Nick, I think I used a KTM RC125 seat latch. The swivelling bracket I made from some sheet steel (2mm I think) and the connecting swivel bolts were from an MZ! Any seat latch of a similar style ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I'd like to see the Tuono with clipons Tony [emoji106] I've been busy with making a removable seat pad for the Storm today. Usually there would just be a bit of foam stuck on the RS250 seat unit, but I wanted to make it removable so I can access the fuses etc. I've made a seat base which clips into ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
After a recent chat with Jonesey regarding Macs workshop day, I felt motivated enough to drag the Storm out of hibernation and get to work on it again! I'm still in the process of fitting a Honda RS250 seat unit, which has required learning to weld, making a subframe, and pretty much fabricating ...

Filled my van up from empty with premium diesel (£150), totaled 520 miles getting to and from Op Storm Wales and I used half a tank. I'm sure that's cheaper than my Storm! I may not have saved any fuel cost using the van to get me there and back, but I certainly saved expensive bike tyres! ...
