Grab rail kit.

No pictures to show unfortunately, but i just fitted the grab rail kit for the storm. Where before the rail was only connected by bolts to the frame, this kit takes a few extra bolts and the existing fittings/holes (no mods needed) and it is now solid as a rock. You can easily manouvre the bike usin...

Re: Replacment side stand

I stumped up for the daytona 600 sidestand. It is not a direct replacement at all. For a start there is a second bracket sticking out to the left that touches the engine, meaning you cant bolt it on all the way. Secondly, if you have stock placement of exhaust, the sidestand hits the down pipes when...

Re: Repairing my downpipes

Right job done. Bought gasket seal and clamp. Exhausts off. Front pipe off at the engine. New gasket in with some copper grease. As i out it back i put in new gasket seal and clamp (bit tricky even with copper grease because the gasket seals like to fall to bits if something is even slightly forcefu...

Strada or ASV levers? (Long or shorty?) Show us!

In my quest to purchase some new levers im debating 2 things. Strada or ASV standard or shorty. what do you all think? obviously the ASV levers are more so obviously a lot better but I'd like to see/hear what you got and how you feel about them to help influence my choice. Or even if you have differ...

Re: Which ASV levers fit the firestorm?

fantastic - that link clears it up nicely.

I'll keep my eyes open for anyone selling the other one to match yours then? ;)

Is it strange that I want to fit both together? I see lots of singles for sale. do people ride with odd levers?

Which ASV levers fit the firestorm?

I've been lusting after some ASV levers and I think the C5 levers fit the firestorm. however if a range of levers fit then that enables me to find a bargain or two on ebay. Does anyone know the range of levers that fit? - I spotted the BRC520-k fits. but will the 510 fit? or ones made for vfr1200 fo...

Did you have to change anything (relays for example) to do this? Are all your other indicators LED too?

Re: Shall I update indicators?

Sorted it. The front left indicator went on it anyway so they had to be replaced. Just grabbed an oxford set with the longest stalks I could find. Slightly rounder than the last ones too. It had to be done considering the garage that helped me to get it roadworthy again, completely forgot about the ...
