cant think why you have marked 100 we never go at that speed do we ?

avoid like the plague,
it will self destruct within weeks. boil you battery and throw acid all over the swingarm

going by what others have said if you make it 6mm it will be even worse,altering the rake and trail incorrectly can be fatal

I have seen the question asked a few times.
can the ht leads be removed from the coils, i have just fitted stick coils and can confirm the ht leads can be removed from the coils they are the screw in type just the same as the plug caps
know if this applies to later years, mine is a 1998

was not aware of the drain hole,so I will sort that first,then if the leads will come out of the coils I will replace them.
I will as you mention go for stick coils if I can find some sensibly priced

hello all,i was caught in hell of a storm last week and since then bike has developed a splutter.
considering the age of bike thought I would replace the caps and ht leads.
is it possible to remove the leads form the coils or are they fixed

tacho /temp/speedo all linked with the same ground=earth. it also serves the dash lights, if they are off too I think it virtually proves where the fault lies
