Re: which to get, 7 or 8 ?

...W8 bit seems more cosmetic than anything as half the time you end up back on an old desktop set up.... I see the new "Start Page" as more of a central, organised, launch page for all my desktop applications, not as an environment for use of the new "apps" on the home PC. The ...

Re: which to get, 7 or 8 ?

Hello there. Just my take so far.... I bought into Windows 8 after trying the consumer preview for a bit. I kept my Windows 7 install intact on another drive just in case I wasn't keen on it. Within 3-4 days I pretty much knew 8 would replace my 7 install. As you say, a lot of the negativity aimed a...

Re: PR3s

I am pretty much set on having Pilot Road 3's fitted in the next few weeks.

Feel confident in them? Everything I read suggests they are generally great.

Re: New to forum - Blade(s) to Storm Swapper!

Yep, know those roads well. The A713 is a great run, South of Loch Doon the scenery can be stunning on a dry day. Relatively quiet too. North of Glasgow, the A82 up past Loch Lomond to Fort William is indeed another great road, worth sampling if you chaps do head north this year. Fair to say it gets...

Re: New to forum - Blade(s) to Storm Swapper!

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps. Good to hear there are a few of you who have also owned a blade and storm. The change must be do-able! I grew up in Troon, and still live in Ayrshire. Have toured the many fantastic roads of Scotland on inline fours, I am looking forward to a summer on a twin. The ...

Re: Oooh, look what I found!

Stunning.

I think matte black is awesome on the storm.

Really highlights angles that the glam colours don't show.

Great looking bike fella.

Cheers,

Sticky.

New to forum - Blade(s) to Storm Swapper!

Greetings all. This looks like the place to be for all things Firestorm, and you chaps seem like a friendly bunch from what I've read so far. I've been a Honda nut all my days, and recently swapped my 1999 RRX Fireblade for a 1999 FX Firestorm. I owned the RRX blade for 11 years, so I was sad to see...
