Re: New bike - Moriwaki race vtr
Hi guys
After all that I have gone in a big circle and am no longer sure what the bike is I have in Japan.
I have been busy trying to find out more about the engine!
I'm over there in a couple of months so the seller has put it back in the garage and is waiting for me to go out.
More to follow!

Re: New bike - Moriwaki race vtr
Still stunning, when I first got them off Roger this one came with two extra sets of dymags, full body work and air ducts, tank and a load of engine parts. I went down to Dave Heals place and cleared him out of spares, my misses went mad when I told her how much I had spent! I still wonder where the...

Re: New bike - Moriwaki race vtr
Yes, 92 blade, a black one, mine new in 1992, original 18000 miles. When I blew up my Moriwaki cbr1000 one year, I took her for a brands gp track day. I have never been slagged off so much, what is that bike doing here I was asked by loads. The rear shock was not ( still isn't) so good and she was l...

Re: New bike - Moriwaki race vtr
Just found this old picture of my workshop, with the two old bikes in. Stage 2 / 3
Wish I had all three, but that's a bit greedy!
More than happy to get together when she is here and running properly.

Re: New bike - Moriwaki race vtr
Hi The stage 2 bike with the spondon ears (I raced it in the late 90s) was great and goes real well, but all the stage 3 bikes in Japan never had the mod, sticking with the swing arm engine thing. Whilst I never got on as we'll with the stage 3 bike (raced that one too) I think that was down to me h...
