Where can I buy the headlight connector?
Hi there, I want to replace the black square connector that plugs into the back of the headlight bulb. Trouble is I can't find one on the web, maybe because I don't actually know what it is I'm searching for.... Mine has a dodgy connection and at the moment my headlight bulb only works intermittentl...

Stoke Egg Run Sunday 17th
Hello,
Are there any fellow Storm riders going to the Stoke Egg Run on Sunday? If so, can I ask a favour? Would anyone be willing to have a quick listen to my bike and see if it sounds OK since I installed manual CCT's?
Plus, it'd be nice to meet some fellow Storm riders!
Cheers,
Gav

Engine temperature
Hello everyone, I have a 2003 (F2) model storm. Could someone please tell me what the normal running temperature of the engine should be? I appreciate that it's going to be running hotter in slow traffic, cooler at speed. The other day I was out and about in slow moving traffic and the engine temper...

Re: CCT's changed to manuals, now the occasional backfire
Carl,
I think I might have confused things by describing it as a cough. It's a difficult sound to describe, but it seems to be cured by slackening the front CCT
Cheers,
Gav

Re: CCT's changed to manuals, now the occasional backfire
Thanks everyone I started the bike up last night and it didn't make that strange sound on startup (I'd say it's like a hollow metallic cough) and I ran the bike up to temperature. Then, at around 80 degrees c I turned the bike off and started again and then I get the cough sound, so I think like you...

Thanks Carl. I'll start the bike up and slowly slacken them off and see if it helps

Re: CCT's changed to manuals, now the occasional backfire
Thanks Cybercarl We followed the Kreiger instructions to the letter. After aligning the cams, we used the homemade key to lock the old tensioner in place, then removed it. As a guide, we set the new manual tensioner to the same length as the old one, then fitted it. Then, I turned the engine over by...

Re: CCT's changed to manuals, now the occasional backfire
Thanks. I'll have a check Something else I 'think' I've noticed is this.... A ticking sound coming from the cam area. Now, it's not very loud, and I'm also wondering if it's actually there at all! Let me explain; I'm paranoid! We swapped the CCT's yesterday and I may be listening out for something t...

CCT's changed to manuals, now the occasional backfire
Hi there everyone, Me and my old man changed the automatic CCT's for Krieger manuals following the instructions to the letter. I'm pretty sure everything went well. The bike starts and I did 9 miles on it last night. I have a problem with my battery in that I have to have an Oximiser connected or it...
