Re: Know anything interesting about Triumph?
Hope you get the job. Always fancied a Trip, but I don't dare ride one in case I then can't live without it. As soon as I've had a bad day it'll be on the credit card. Women go to get their nails done, I buy bikes to cheer myself up. Will you get a Company Bike, or at least, decent factory discount...

Re: Honda hornet 900
I've had 2 600 Hornets and 1 900 Hornets. well if we are being silly I would say that's a lot of motorbikes  I'll say, that's 4500 bikes, all Hornets to boot! I'd say we have a Hornet obsession on our hands gents :) Nothing wrong with a Hornet obsession, they're damned good bikes! I ...

Re: near miss
Lucky escape . I don't ride this time of year as other road users have better things todo than drive the car . What do you mean this time of year? In coventry I swear every driver I go past is busy doing make up or turning round to talk to someone in the back seat :P OP not trying to upset you but,...

Re: Operation Storm III: Yorkshire Dales 24-26 May 2013
We've had BMWs, Kawasaki's, Transalps, Firebades and Yamaha's on these runs. I think anything is welcome as long as it can reach and maintain speed limits  Speed limits as in the uhh, legal road speed limits? if that's the case I wouldn't mind coming along if my exam timetable leave...

Re: SP1 clocks on an '01 VTR?
treat yourself to a trans logic dash instead - theyre awesme and can be adapted to fit any bike http://www.translogicuk.com/micro-dash.php about 400 notes but worth every penny imo. 400 wing wangs? Hmm.. Maybe a long way down the line :L definitely not within my price range, provided I get the 'sto...

Re: SP1 clocks on an '01 VTR?
I'm sure it's possible but will not be either a straight swap or easy task. You will need wiring diagrams for both bikes and work out what is needed and what is not and which wires to connect where. You will then need either a connector block for back of sp dash and some wires or an sp loom you can...

SP1 clocks on an '01 VTR?
I've found a VTR at an acceptable price worth buying, with the updated clocks, HISS and larger fuel tank. But it's a parallel important and has a speedo in km/h and an odometer in km. buying a UK clock set for it costs about £250 on eBay, yet SP1 clocks sell for about £100. Does anyone know whether ...

No idea, don't find out until mid-January Interview went well though, hoping they forgive me for owning a Honda though

Black VTR going past Lawrence sheriff school in Rugby around 12:50, later saw it parked opposite strand. Very good condition and sounded beautiful :3

Re: Head Light Up-Grade
As nice as projectors would be, we have pretty strict guidelines over here and I don't think they will pass an MOT. You guys don't need MOT's in the states but here we have to have a yearly inspection of a vehicles roadworthyness. (:-}) I think you can get away with it, my dad has HID projectors in...

Re: Next year ??
Is anyone thinking of any ride outs in the october end of the year? Or are you all fair weather riders? Would be nice to go out on a ride after I'm able to ride the VTR I should have by then, or do I have to wait 18 months?
