Added vfr handlebars to help my back thanks to the advice given on this forum.

I keep reading that the vfr clip on bars are a straight swap for the firestorm I have bought a vfr 800 98 clip on and the locater is in the wrong place. It does fit nicely but I am worried about them moving if I brake hard. Has anyone else used these bars or any advice at what I can do to raise slig...

Thanks I have just checked and the bulbs in the new ones are 10w and the original are 21w so need new ones.

Thanks guys. I have fitted 4resisters and they have bulbs not LEDs so I think I must need a new relay.

Hi guys I have recently bought smaller indicators for my 98 firestorm also got some resisters as recommended. I fitted the back 2first with no issues today I fitted the front ones and the speed was to fast.
Any ideas

I have just had the same problem with my bike but I found the link on this forum about upgrading to a new R1 R/R as these are better than the Honda ones,it cost me £30 from ebay and fits straight on with a bit of wire work and now works fine. I must admit I had some head scratching at firs...

what type of mirrors do you have i am looking for new ones to get round my large frame work.

Hi does anybody know if you can fit any other tank on to a 98 vtr to give better miles on a journey.
