Put a scotoiler on it and be done. Route it to the front sprocket and avoid the mess on the rear wheel too.

Try a small shim/washer (0.5mm) under the needle circlip(s). Fitted a pipercross to mine and had similar symptoms, was much better after adding a shim, total shim stack thickness on mine is now 1.2mm, its not perfect but lots better, can't be bothered to try any more combos of shims. They rear one stands a good chance of fitting as the bearings, cush drive and disc are exactly the same sizes. I think I've heard of 'blades having the storm wheels fitted 'cos theyre lighter.

Just done my front one after hearding the slapping rattle noise, but only at 1300rpm and also when the engine was hot. More noticable when on the overrun, ie slowing down in gear. Took me about 5hours in all, now I've done it it'll be a 2hour job next time(!). Cam timing was out on the rear cam prob...

The Sp1 arm is braced and looks a lot better than the weedy VTr one but unfurtunately does not fit, its no where near, not even with machining/welding. I had one to do just what ur thinking of and it was way off. I believe metmachex will brace a standard arm, ask Tony Law aka Fluffy on the yahoo lis...
