Re: Garage floor
In one of my garages, yeah I got 2 flash huh, I just laid a latex self leveling compound down and the stuck vinyl over that. It was the vynil used in wet areas. Also sealed the joint at the walls with a mastic. Empty the garage and I can jet wash the floor. Sealed the walls and cieling with gloss pa...

Re: May Day Run to Hastings
I went on one Mayday Run to Hastings. It was shite. I'd rather stay at home and shove rusty nails through my nuts. The roads were full of idiots and theres fook all to do once you get there. Forget hastings and have a run down to Rye instead. Be sure to take on the Udimore Bends.......

Re: A good cheap helmet
The ACU gold sticker is a legacy from the old days of BSI. the gold meant the helmet reached BSI type A standards. There used to be a silver one too. But that got dropped for some reason. Its al EEC standard now anyway so BSI is a bit defunct. A lot of the Track Day companies won't let you ride unle...

Re: A good cheap helmet
Currently using a Carbon Marushin. As lite as anything, the lightest lid I've worn. Comfy, quiet and less tyhan fibreglass Arai's Shoei's etc. Fit better too....for me. ACU Gold and Sharps 5 stars. 250 notes and a free tinted visor. The baldrocks as far as I'm concerned...... http://www.helmethut.co...

Dunno if this has been done before, but anyway, apart from the bikes as a past time I also go clay shhoting, sailing and kayaking. What floats your boat aside from the V twin roar?

Re: Whats best cans for firestorm 2001
Just before Christmas I bought a set of British made stainless cans from "FUEL". Think they cost <£260 delivered - but were on offer. Really nice quality, removable baffles, can't wait for spring!! http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/13/dsc09310au.jpg/] http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/...

Re: Super scooters - Experience?
The fact that you know of Hondas reputation, build quality & reliability (cough CCT R/R Cough Cough) surly should discount the Gilera & Zook.( Italian electrics? Zook build quality I hear is not the best.) I've a honda scooter for buzzing in London, make pure sense.......its built in Italy....

Re: Repacking cans
Steve if you need a hand doing it give me a shout. I did the Leo's on mine. Then 3 weeks later threw it down the road. Luckily I was under it so damage to the bike was minimal. Trashed one of the cans and purchased a set of Fuel's. Pretty good price. I have shite loads of drill bits. May even have e...

Re: Gel seat v Air cushion?
Rubberrings are good but too bulky. I find this takes up less room in the tankbag........ http://www.boxhill.co.uk/forum/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=10801 A bit like Autosolvo, but doesnt' burn as much! I'd look at the gel insert option. Had one in the past and found it to be very good. Not that I w...
