Re: Engine oil as chain lube?

Engine oil is a great thing to use. After all it is the lubricant we trust to keep our engine and clutches working without a problem. I have used it on my chain before now and would recomend it any day. Bloke I work with has also used it for the past 30years and says his chain and sprockets have las...

Re: Carbon Fibre wrap...

The biggest problem I have is removing everything from the bike to leave just the frame :( It would have been a case of removing the panels and tank and working round this, making life a lot harder. Something I would like to do but do not want to make a mess of it. Has to look good.

Carbon Fibre wrap...

I have a red vtr 1998 and looks amazing. But I do not really like the silver frame and powder coating is expensive. Plus it looks a bit plain. Was thinking about doing the whole frame and forks in carbon wrap. Some of the frame has surface rust as well. Want to tidy it up and make it stand out a bit...

Storms in Leicestershire

Hello everyone. Are there any storm riders on here from the Leicestershire area? Seen a few of you around, a red one and a yellow one. Mainly around Coalville where I have seen the red one. Just wondered if any of you are on the forum and local.

Re: New policy at Sainsburys?

I had this at a Morrisons too. Asked to remove my helmet so I said why should I when people from the middle east can walk in with there face covered so you cant see them, and then also asked to get off the bike. Explained that situation to her as well. She soon shut up and went back inside and then ...

Re: Hello all

Is there a walk through guide on here for the CCT? I have looked though the workshop section but can not seem to find it. Must be blind. I am a mechanic so should not be much trouble, failing that the bloke I bought it from is always willing to help.
