I agree bolts will look much better. I have ordered them, they should be delivered midweek. Keep everyone posted. Hopefully some posting will be done by next weekend!

Hi mate,
All extenders will be painted black. I can supply unpainted please let me know asap. The first 11 sets will be black before the end of the week.

hi all found some button head allan key bolts on ebay. item number 120946475922. stainless steel. works out at 50p for 2 bolts. when i pm buyers this will be an option. they look better than the countersink bolts. the countersink bolt heads are too big. saves all drilling. just another option. tried...

i may countersink the mirror arm. this will allow me to conceal the bolt head. i am a bit loathed to modify the mirror. i will check on the size of the head of the bolt required. it may look better done, especially when extenders are painted. keep you updated. i will check with the chap machining fo...

I have made mirror extenders, from aluminium bar. 50mm extensions, but coud be made any length. it bolts into the housing, using the existing bolt. then 1 additional bolt, to refit the mirror to the extender. i have tried them for a couple of months, no problems at all. improved vison. no drilling t...

always been with bennets before that. they were £15 more expensive this renewal.
