hi,
thanks for positive comments. i have spoken to a few or the other buyers.i am thinking about making a set with 3 inch extension as opposed to 2. what do you think, too much? perhaps worth a try, i could always re machine to 2 inch if they are not right.

i have purchased the power supply unit (details posted earlier). i looks like it will fit in the waterproof case with the i phone on top. so no power leads to worry about.
if you buy the waterproof bag & need the bracket to mount it, let me know & i will make you one.

hi all,
secnd batch of extenders are now complete. 4 sets are still waiting to be paid for.
i will throw this open now, so 4 sets for sale on a first come first serve basis. £24 includes postage & 2 stainless steel button head bolts. pm me if you are interested.

Not tried this, but heard from someone who has. Use some thin rope. Remove plug, set piston just below top. Stuff a measured amount of rope into plug hole. Tie off end of rope. Turn engine pushing piston to top. Compressed rope holds valves up. Not sure if i would do it myself, maybe if needs must. ...

have a look at this. a portable powe source. it will power satnav phone etc. i only have basic sat nav myself so no earphone socket. it has been ok & got me to my destination. next one will have earphone socket. i have also downloaded satnav app on phone. work ok in the car, so i will try on the...

The case with handle bar clamp about berween £9 &£15 on ebay. Made extension piece & clamp as in original picture. I will try to upload photo.

probably the cost of rings & gasket set is equivalent to replacement engine. a quicker turnaround just swapping engines. if you rebuild yours you will have the satisfaction it has been done. all depends on how much time & money you have. an engine swap to get you away, then rebuild your own ...
