I can get away with changing bikes, as long as they are the same colour. She's got eyes like a hawk for colour changes thoughspider13 wrote:easy, dont tell them

Re: Is it me or is it the Storm ?
Thanks for all the replies, will look at the 1300 also looking at the Tiger 1050 and Multistrada 1100 anybody had one ? I have the Tiger 955i. It's a lot different to the 'storm (like you didn't realise ;-) but the engine is torquey up to around 90, then runs out of puff, if you have a high screen ...

Re: touring firestorm
The trouble is with the Firestorm is the piss poor tank range. Agreed. I've toured a couple of time in France on mine, and the bike was hated by any group i'd be riding in, as i'd have to pull over with a fuel light on whilst they still had 40-50 miles in their tanks .. The only bike i've ha...

Re: Miss Your Storm - Would you? Do You? Why?
I've had 2 'storms, the track bike, (that a friend of mine threw a lot of money at to make it go fast and handle right), and a stock one. The track bike has a very aggressive power delivery, but hasn't compromised the longevity of the engine so far ... The mods weren't designed to make it a fire-bre...

Re: Hi, newbie, just visiting
Yes strange first post indeed. Strange but true  Basically, i've owned firestorms for the last 8 years or so, and I would keep them, but i'm emigrating to Ireland, so I have to pare down the fleet to something more manageable to get in the back of a van for transport. Unfortunately the Firesto...

Hi Paul, You won't be able to list your bike in the Sales and Wants section until your post count is over ten postings (forum rules now). If you can remember your old user name and it was not too long ago we might be able to get that up and working again :?: Chris. gah, didn't realise. I registered...

Hi, newbie, just visiting
Was on the forum a while back, after I had bought my 2 VTR Firestorms.
I'm now moving to Ireland, so i'm clearing the fleet. One went today, and i'm putting the other up for sale on the sales part of the forum.
See you on the road !
Cheers,
Paul.
