Gave up on the paint, I want it to be good so I sent it to the pros. I only want to do this once and I want it right. Get it back on Saturday. Will fit and post pics. Yes I am disappointed, however it has to be right from the get go as I have other things to do and time waits for no one! Stay tuned.

I did remember reading on here that they fit.

I'm still not sure about the hugger.It seems to be out of proportion with the swinger. Will have to wait until its all fitted up before I can make my mind up.

Hopefully when it's finished it will look good and then I will be a happy cunning stunt.

Should read "Fecker" not decker! Wonder what. Decker is. I just had a funny thought that goes like this. Run into a Storm owner when out on a ride and start talking about our bikes. Run through the list of mods and tell him it's got a decker, and he says yeh so have I. If that was the case...

I will work out some sort of guard, all I want to do now is get this decker on the bike with the rear sets and ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mock up of hugger from R1 fitted. Dammmmmmmm! Should of removed chain guard brackets. Now I will have to relieve the hugger mounting to clear the bracket. I like the smell of petrol! I,m always getting into trouble of the missus as the garage/ man cave is under the house and the fumes carry up the stairwell into our foyer. Another couple of nights and the swinger should be on along with my new rearsets. Will post obligatory pics as I go.a :beer: :beer:

Don't laugh guys I used petrol and a toothbrush, then wiped it over with wax and grease remover, and then a spray with WD40 and a wipe over with a clean micro fibre cloth.

Came up a treat with a bit of elbow grease.

I have seen a post on one of the forums where a guy used the standard filter casing and fitted oil able filter foam to it and reported no problems. When it's time to replace my standard filter I intend to have a go at it myself. Don't hold your breath on an answer from me though as I am tied up with...

I fitted a rubber sleeve over the braided line where it goes behind the frame.

I have had this fitted for about 3,000 miles and have not had any problems with oil etc.

I am very anal about my bike and keep it clean.

No salt on the roads here and ride all year round.
