Finally Got One
Here in the Antipodies it can be hard to secure a genuine single seat cowl. Finally got one from Italy for €60 shipped. Well happy. Re: Cleaning tools, tips and products.
If your anal like me never let it get dirty. I never wash my bike! Also I use a tooth brush for hard to get at areas on the engine, and petrol works a treat on stubborn marks, but only on metal. When the engine is clean I spray it with WD40 and wipe over. That way any grime wipes of with an old rag,...

Re: Which double bubble should I buy?
Here is my cheap Chinese one $20- off Fleabay. A bit of tinkering to get it right, been on for about 18 months. Holding up O.K and much less buffeting when riding. Makes the bike better on long trips. http://i1000.photobucket.com/albums/af129/kbarr2/swing%20arm%20swap/2C9AE820-02A8-463C-A40C-0EE5D5F...

Re: Scarlett ~ A Work in Progress
CrickeyMo two wheels you are all over this. Cobber if you want better brakes buy a set of CBR600 F4i calipers and fit braided hoses, then you will need the Coerce fork brace as the front end will flex like a Russian gymnast limbering up for the Olympics under hard brakes. They are the bees knees com...

Re: This winter's rebuild and mods
I was at a track day and bumped into a fellow Storm owner. His bike looked like a piece of sh1t. A cobbled together thing that looked like a death trap. I was in the med to fast group with him. We got talking and compared notes. Same hi comp pistons, same jetting, lightened flywheel etc and as near ...

Re: White Tachometer Face
Thanks lads. One of the frustrations of owning a Storm here in the antipodies is how hard it is to get custom parts. Your efforts and advice are much appreciated. Whenever I try and get ods and sods as soon as you say that the bits are for a 9 year old Storm I usually get a wry smile and comments li...

Re: This winter's rebuild and mods
I use my bike for two of the mentioned applications.
No drags for me.
I really want an exhaust and realise that all of our bikes have different mods, but would still love a big bore system and am very interested in what you do.

Re: The Two Thousand Year Old Computer
I had an Amiga 500 once!
Sort of puts the saying " Everything Old Is New Again" saying into perspective.
I am old and still feel new.
Look it up, you will be surprised, first computer I ever owned.

Re: Another Swingarm brace, with a twist,, under slung calip
Where watching Eric.
The underslung caliper is the piece due resistance as far as I'm concerned.
Can't wait to see it finished, and get your thoughts on what difference it makes.
My experience is positive in regards to handling
