Interesting how pricey the Varadero is. Suppose it's all the fad of Adventure Bikes at the moment, which is probably here to stay. Even thinking of adding one (please note the term adding) , maybe even a varadero myself. Would feel like a firestorm tourer really, bit like driving a Corsa and also ow...

MOT today, which it flew through, BUT the battery is Overcharging so needs a new R&R and recommended battery as well. Been having a few battery probs recently so asked the question. The mechanic knows about the finned version (thanks guys) and isnt a robber, so £60 something for the R&R, £40...

Saw one at Loomies today, god they are the best looking machines. A 2006 Tornado goes for £3500.

I get 36 per gallon, weekend low mileage stuff. Bit frightening when it equates to a litre of fuel for 7.5 miles!!! ( 16 litres is 3 galls) that wouldn't sell me one if I was thinking of buying one!!

Does anyone know if Ventura do a rack for the storm, or come to think of it anyone else? I want tour but don't want to pay for another bike! Plus I like my bike! I love those BMW side panniers ( not the tin boxes).
