It's fitted using three points, a bolt on the right side which uses the original bracket and two long bolts from beneath which go into the rear and front sump holes on the left side. All at present line up just right. If it was to s...

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)

Re: Slow turning over, VERY corroded starter connections
Hi all...just wanted to say a great thanks to all who contributed to this post. I too had the corroded bolt, nothing left of the nut and very poor starting problems. Previously changed to the 18 amp battery with an improvement but not 100%. Today, after reading the post, took the starting motor apar...

Scotland Tour
Hi guys, firstly Happy New Year to you all. Thought I would put a link up to show you some photos of our two trips round the north of Scotland. We only used bunkhouses, hostels or B/B accomodation as the midges are awful in the evening. Less stuff to carry round as well. Ther roads up there are awes...

Re: Exhaust stud removal!
Just thinking, what's the views on using brass nuts on the exhaust studs. You wouldn't get the same bother as alloy nuts corroding onto the stud.

Re: Are you riding this winter? What do you wear?
My Keis heated vest is an absolute must. I recently bought a battery so I can wear the vest when off the bike, and great for camping in the winter. Is this an age thing... The new Keis jacket is £160, long sleeved and the heated membrane is all over and around the neck. I think that's good value. Al...

Found out it was the fuse blown. Nice easy fix.
Run the bike up today and the fan kicked in at just over the half way point on the dial.
Thanks again for all the replies.
