Re: Clutch Slipping Issue... Nice new Renthal Chain and Sprockets though!
Hi Peeb, Thanks for the reply, I will have a look this weekend. The slave operates perfectly, there's plenty of travel on the piston, the levers felt the best it has ever has on this bike; it's a bit of head scratcher. I'd never considered the Master could have been upset! I will let you know how I ...

Re: Clutch Slipping Issue... Nice new Renthal Chain and Sprockets though!
So semi's the way to go then? I'm guessing with a slightly older bike full syn will cause an issue. Hmmm. WIll drop the oil out and replace the filter and see if that makes a rectifies it. Fingers crossed it does! Just wonder whats caused the upset when removing the slave cyinder (admittedly fairly ...

Re: Clutch Slipping Issue... Nice new Renthal Chain and Sprockets though!
I have a feeling it may be Semi, I should upgrade that to Full, shouldn't I? IS that a fairly common issue?

Replaced all the seals on the slave cylinder and the piston, and I have bled the system using a Multivac numerous time, but the boody thing keeps slipping when...

Re: CCT Advice
I was changing to APE Manual CCTs from automatics, so there are installed. I obviously didn't gauge the tension on the front OEM tensioner when I installed the manuals. As I was unsure I took the front cylinder cover off and guides, the timing marks are a little out, but this is down to me being an ...

Re: CCT Advice
Finally after many weekends of not being at home, I finally managed to get into the garage to have a tinker. After setting the front cylinder position to FT and removing the front cover (a tad tricky) it seems the two timing positions are out of line. See link. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/8...

Re: CCT Advice
I'm turning the engine over manually Anti clockwise, the camchain seems slack and rises just above the teeth of the cams. Does that make any sense? By the way firing the TDC?

CCT - Halfway through need advice
Hi im half way through putting some APE tensioners in using Sirch's Guide, installed them i'm turning over the engine manually to check that it turns freely, it seems stiff and the cam chain seems to be rising up, are the tensioners too tight or too slack. I'm a tad worried Im going to knacker my ti...
