I did write a guide on here ages ago about spraying with rattle cans, depending how bad the smashed panel is you might be able to mend it with a soldering iron and spray cans...a much cheaper option! you can wack a multimeter across most componants and check the readings against the manual (linked above this post). That will help to narrow things down. That buzzing noise you can hear is the solinoid firing but not catching which means its likelly to be an electrical problem. Checking the rec-tum...
