Exhaust bracket for Firestorm
Just thought I'd share this one. A seller on ebay doing some great tailpipe brackets for the firestorm. They bring the cans Up and In by approx 50mm and the rest of the system seemed to stretch into place without needing to modify anything else. I thing it looks loads better than the standard fit . ...

Re: Fork Spring advice
Yep. Already running the rear spacer. I guess at this point I'm just trying to establish what measurement is standard. I want to use that as my start point then move towards that 10mm you suggested. If standard feels okay ill prob stick with that. All interesting stuff tho. I'm surprised that hyperp...

Re: Fork Spring advice
Popkat. I'm confused. Pulling the forks up means increasing that 10mm even further. Do you mean go the other way. Ie reduce that 10 mm toward the standard. 2 or 3 mm?

Re: Fork Spring advice
Tks for that. What is the effect of increasing that to 10mm? It obviously drops the front down but what will that do to handling?

Re: Fork Spring advice
If anyone interested, I finally got round to changing the springs. I went for the Hyperpro kit with 7.5 oil. Job was easy enough to do, and by the colour of the oil I would say these forks had never been touched. The standard honda spring is much much shorter and less substantial hence you have to r...

Re: Fork Spring advice
To follow up on my original post, I'm just about to order Hyperpro progressive springs. I only use the bike on the road (no track stuff unfortunately) and from various searches on the internet they seem to rate well with feedback from people that used em. I have no idea what oil weight to use. I'm t...

Re: Fork Spring advice
Tks for all tips so far..Convinced I need to do this job, but as usual so many options and I'd hate to make the wrong choice. I have just been looking at K-tech springs, but they are linear. Anyone got advice on which is best "Linear" or "Progressive"? This is for Road use. Obvio...

Re: Does K&N and Dynojet make a difference
You're right. I have asked before, but wanted to see if any new opinions came forward and I'm coming from a slightly different angle this time, in terms of costs vs benefit. I think your experience of 8 dyno runs tells me what I need to know and I'll leave it. Any thoughts on the issue of fitting K&...

Does K&N and Dynojet make a difference
Firestorm on 2000 plate , already has performance cans etc. The question is, does a K&N and dynojet make a real noticeable difference? It's a fair chunk of money to throw at the bike especially as I would need to get it done at a tuning place, but the bike seems to run pretty well already (No fl...

Re: Fork Spring advice
Tks. So what is the easiest way to drain oil. Could I use a syringe or something (to avoid removing the forks or hanging the bike upside down!)

Fork Spring advice
Hi, I think I need to upgrade my front springs. I weigh 100 kilos and find the standard very weak and they bottom out easily. Is it worth trying a different oil before I do anything else? Would this make any improvement or difference? If not, anyone recommend springs? I've seen K-tech for £80 or Hyp...

Re: The CCT Issue
I have had my manual CCT's in for a year now and never adjusted them. Not really sure how and took a guess when I fitted mine. Someone told me to adjust until you could hear the chain rattling then go back the other way until it stops. To be honest i'm not sure how you are supposed to hear anything ...

Re: Speedo stopped workin
Quick question. Did the new speedo sensor work? I got excatly the same problem and just wondered whether a new sensor solved it for you?
