Hello all, made a bobo, and yes I was kicking myself afterwards but i removed the rear cylinder cams and without thinking just put then down on a cloth without noting which came from where. I cannot tell which cam needs to go where does anyone have any way of identifying the cams? thanks.

You got away lucky! I was out motocrossing and just as we finished and were riding down the tarmac road at the end i stopped and got off, as my mate was coming up behind me I turned around and just as I did his front wheel locked up which resulted in him doing a massive endo then the bike falling on...

pretty much any honda starter will fit it, the 90's blade starters are the same, as are the blackbirds (i've currently got a blackbird starter on my VTR) the cbr600's are the same aswell. higher amperage is fine, its higher voltage you don't want, the same as you can put a 20ah battery in the storm or a 10ah, the battery will only draw as much current as it needs when you connect it to the car battery. I would have no problem jump starting my bike off a car battery as long as the car...

well she lives! replaced the clutch cover. filled her up with the vital fluids and she started second turn with full choke same as always! I didn't take the sump off but I did strain the old oil out and run it through a couple of times.

the varadero cover doesn't have the pump or seal, and I cannot see if the bearing is there, are they going to be transferable? or am I going to need to buy new ones?

Many thanks for the offer cheekykev, but I ordered some of those duraweld sticks, and i've got some plate ali cases that were going to be scrapped at work, which will be perfect for making a patch. Ok, no problem, just be carefull, Ali melts at a very low temp, you don't get any warning, one minute...

When i say strap i mean the hanger i guess you call it? the bit i strap around it to hold it to the bike!

Well the fron't brake lever is toast, but have a replacement set as clutch is scratched too, scratched my 7 month old set of titanium scorpions and snapped the plastic strap (designed like that to stop the can buckling I would guess) :Cry1: :Cry1: £350 worth of can :( other than that it seemed ok ba...
