Re: How and where to sell up the VTR :-(

Rob, Firstly congratulations for having her for 20 years. They are very attachable. You need to be realistic about what her sale value is, I've spent between £800 and £3500 on my Storms before and apart from looks all have been great bike. Just don't look at "trade" prices at these are way too high....

Re: New to Forum

for what its worth, I have the same cans in the shed, from previous bike, and whilst swapping over from Migs to standard ones there was no need to play around with the jets.
they realy are a nice set, very light and right up there sound wise.

Re: a bit of spondoness.

Stop being a teenager. Go pick her up, rub or the dirt and put her away for 1 week.
When you calm down, think about what you have not checked as suggested here. 're think then think again.
You have put far too many hours into her to let her suffer.

Re: If not a Firestorm, then ??

Yup the Pan 1100 is a riot of a bike, and yes it is bloody heavy if you have to push it around. Apart from that it's superb. Probably the best balanced bike I have every owned, as in you can take your hands off the bars and text at 40mph that balanced..... and still scrub the sides of the tyers when...

Re: If not a Firestorm, then ??

Try an nc700, just about top end on your budget, rather an all rounder but they can hustle when needed, so is the mt07, UKBiker can move his around when in the mood.
